The Airplane exercise is a full body exercise that is earned after successfully completing mat exercises such as Rolling Like a Ball and Jack Knife. Learn how to successfully setup and execute Airplane using the Contrology Airplane Board. The addition of the board can help clients find their center and execute with length through the body.

Nicole Martin’s certification and approach to teaching the entire system were passed down directly from Joseph and Clara Pilates to her teacher, Jay Grimes. She completed The Work, a Master’s certification, in 2016. Her passion is teaching the entire Pilates system and watching the changes a body makes once the Method is in their body. In addition to teaching clients, she has extensively coached instructors from all over the country and offers courses for certified instructors. She also offers weekly open-studio classes inspired by Joe Pilates' original New York City classes; these are available online and in her San Diego studio.
